  This was the second time I have had my pet stay at the resort. Once again, we had a great experience. Here's why: 1) I tend to be a procrastinator. It was the day before we were scheduled to go on vacation and I still had not made arrangements to board my dog. I called Overland and they were able to work me in to see the vet to get an examination and update her Bordetella vaccination. I was only charged for a bordetella exam which save me a bit of money. 2) I dropped her off the next day where they performed an evaluation to make sure she was fit for group play. Unfortunately, she did not pass. I had not paid the extra $10 a day for One-on-One play with the humans. But out of the goodness of their hearts, my dog still had plenty of human interaction including fetch time. 3) I picked her up a couple days later with no surprises. The whole process was very smooth and the entire staff was very friendly and made sure she was well taken care of. I highly recommend the pet resort at Overland and I'm sure the veterinary side of the operation is just as good, but I've never had my dog there for more than an exam.
