- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪They were/are excellent. This past weekend, my mom and I brought our cat, Spitfire, in because he was cold, shaking, and was barely breathing. They met us out at the front and talked to us about what was wrong with him and they took him to the back and started helping him right away. In less than five minutes we were talking with the vet in charge of his care and she made us feel very comfortable and explained our options for Spitfire. She and the vet techs explained each step that would be taken and we knew what the cost would be going in, which was money very well spent. We were also allowed to visit him while he was being treated there. He is recovering right now, thanks to the efforts of VCA Alameda East. Thank you!May 28, 2017by Kris C
